December '25 Update for MediWork - Resource Management

This month, we’re releasing one of the most significant updates to MediWork since it was first created – introducing the first wave of a set of features we’re calling “Resource Management”.

MediWork has always offered powerful, flexible tools allowing Occupational Health teams to manage the clinical data and processes surrounding the work they do to keep people safe – from Pre-Placement and Health Surveillance runs to Immunisations and Case Management. With this release, our focus now moves to building tools that let teams manage the business of Occupational Health; staying on top of the appointments, teams, and administration of a modern OH team.

What’s included in this release

New Calendar View (1m 35s)

The appointment list has been replaced with a brand new calendar view, giving you much better control over your upcoming events, appointments, and team management.

Cross-Team Calendars (59s)

The calendar view now makes it even easier to manage appointments across your organisation – whether in pre-set teams, reporting lines, or whoever you choose on the spot.

Process Appointment View (1m 22s)

When you click on an appointment in the near future (like those coming up today), it’s now easier than ever to jump straight to taking clinical notes, updating reporting, or marking as DNAed.

Resource Pools (2m 58s)

Resource Pools give you a drag-and-drop timeline to manage calendars; letting you edit appointments in bulk, so you can respond quickly and effortlessly when things unexpectedly change.

Booking Request Inbox (1m 49s)

Admin teams now have one simple place to go to manage all requested appointments (bookings requested by a team member, which haven’t been processed into a real appointment yet).

Booking Pre-set Locations (1m 46s)

When making a booking, you can now choose from pre-set locations, including using Transit-ready maps to find the best place to send people who receive Occupational Health care.

Comms Confirmation Screen (58s)

When you’re making a booking, you can now preview precisely the communications people will receive – including directions to locations, SMS messages, and choosing which contact details to use.

Work and Booking Locations (3m)

MediWork now gives you the ability to precisely define work and booking locations for your team, including precisely mapping key places so nobody ever feels lost again.

Ad-Hoc OH Teams (1m 30s)

You can now group your Occupational Health employees into whichever teams and groups you need – helping you choose the right person to complete episodes or service appointments.

Advanced Team Management (1m 2s)

MediWork gives you more control than ever over the data you store and manage for your Occupational Health team – from Groups and Teams to line reporting and more.

All the above updates and more are rolling out for every MediWork customer this month.
